The Joy and Relief of First Solo Exhibition

Thursday, March 29, 2012… a day I will NEVER forget. It’s been a week since my opening reception for “The Pixel Made Me Do It!” and I must say, what an experience! Good food. Good people. Good times. It was a good day.

All of the planning, printing, ordering, promoting, and worrying that led up to the evening paid off.

It was truly a gift to be able to share my work and provide an insight into how and why I create art the way I do. The turnout was fantastic, I met a lot of new faces and caught up with old friends and family that night.

Having said that, a huge thank you goes out to all of my family and friends, my extended family at Rowan University and to the wonderful folks that came out and “vibed” with me for a couple of hours. A special thank you goes out to Taryn, Joe and Carollanne at the Fort Dix Arts and Crafts Center and to all of the awesome help at Ritz Camera of Moorestown, NJ. Your help was indispensable and assisted me in a successful show.

So, what does one do after such a momentous occasion?

In a nutshell, I am simply closing my eyes and bottling the moment! (deep sigh).
