Treasure Trove of Literature At Bart’s Books
Discoveries are great. Discoveries while on vacation–even better! I love that “A-HA!” moment. No, I’m not talking about the cool Norwegian 80’s pop band. I’m talking about when I discover something that is fresh, super-valuable and is tucked away somewhere in a nice little corner of a beautiful town; it’s like Nirvana for me. Kind of like my visit to Bart’s Books located in Ohai, California.
I was out West visiting my Sis last month and one of the most memorable moments for me was when Sissy-Bear took me to our last stop in Ohai–Bart’s Books. This place is friggin’ cool. Seriously. It’s like Zen Garden meets awesome book sale. I picked up three art books for a mere $6.
Great books (both new and pre-owned), great prices, great customer service and one extremely cool environment should be a no-brainer, right? Well, it is. And they also buy, sell and trade books, CDs and DVDs. For all of you literary enthusiasts out there, the next time you’re vacationing anywhere near L.A., place Bart’s Books of Ohai at the top of your itinerary.
