Work In Progress
Update: Well, the great thing about being an artist is the ability to change your perspective on any given subject matter, even your own ideas, at any given time during the process. That’s why it’s called a process! I cannot stress how important it is to me. That is where true learning happens. But more importantly, is the artist’s need to be receptive to a new idea–a change to your original blueprint, which is occurring now with “Legend of Ha Long Bay”. I love it; moments of discovery are priceless. And, that is exactly what happened to me last night as I was working.
I took a step back and said to myself, “Sammy, you’re cheating this piece of what it truly deserves: a full blown panorama.”
So, in a revisionist’s true fashion, I’ll be posting a new composition of how Ha Long Bay and its legend deserves to appear. Thanks for bearing with me. It’ll all be worth it, trust me.
